I was born and raised back in the 50s, in Bolivia, South America to American missionaries. I had the great pleasure of living in the Andes, Amazonian jungles, experiencing bush flying, crossing muddy rivers, and seeing ox-carts ply backwater dirt streets. More importantly however, I was instilled with a deep sense of social justice, and having watched those around me, learned the meaning of a life dedicated to God's service and the intrinsic worth of all persons.
I received my B.A.degree in ministry/theology, and over the years have juggled parallel paths in ministry and corporate world. Currently I live in the St. Louis area with my wife of 39 years. We have 5 sons, four of whom are married and pursuing their careers. The last is finishing his undergraduate. We have two fantastic grandchildren.
